A social housing project in Feakle has been given the green light.
A Part 8 planning application for the development of 13 houses in the East Clare village has unanimously been approved by the local authority.
It marks the first social housing development in Feakle since 1973 and will see a mix of three and two-bed homes constructed along with a pedestrian way linking the main street to the school and playground there.
