The husband of Catríona Lucas has expressed hope that a new radio documentary will inspire people to give back to the community.

The volunteer coastguard member from Liscannor tragically lost her life six years ago, when a rigid inflatable boat capsized during a rescue operation off the Kilkee Coast.

To mark the anniversary of her passing, Clare FM will air a special documentary on Monday, which has been produced by Programme Director, Padraic Flaherty, with the support of her family.
