The father of the late Laura Brennan is urging parents to consent to the HPV vaccine to ensure they can celebrate milestone birthdays with their children.
For the first time in two years, HSE vaccination teams are returning to schools to administer the vaccine, having been prevented from doing so during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In March 2021, the vaccination rate dropped to 74%, but the current uptake has risen to 79%.
HPV campaigner and father of the late Laura, Larry Brennan, says they’ll be celebrating their daughter’s 30th birthday without her tomorrow, but that other parents don’t have to face the same fate.
