The funeral arrangements have been announced for a 41-year-old father of four, who lost his life in a tragic swimming accident in North Clare.
Patrick McCarthy from Ballyvaughan died after getting into difficulty in Fanore on Monday night.

He’ll be laid to rest in Noughaval Cemetery on Saturday, following funeral mass at 12 noon in St John The Baptist Church, Ballyvaughan.
Patrick is survived by his wife Christina, daughters Méabh, Caoimhe and Siobhan and son Jack.
Clare County Council has expressed its condolences to his family and has extended the sympathies of the staff and elected members.
Lisdoonvarna Councillor Joe Garrihy says the family were at the centre of the North Clare community.
