An elderly man has died in a house fire in Cork.

Three units of the fire brigade attended the scene of the blaze in Rathcormac just outside Fermoy shortly before eight last night.
Its the third house fire since Friday and the second fatal incident.
In the early hours of yesterday a elderly couple and their grown-up daughter died fire destroyed their two-storey home near Manorhamilton in County Leitrim.
While in Ennis on Friday evening a number of people were treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns after a house fire on the Clon Road.
Gardaí investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.
