It's yet to be seen if Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney wlill retain his seat, but the head of the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association in Clare says it's vital the issue receives urgent government attention.
Minister Coveney has held talks between meat factories and farming representative groups, but farmers of the high-grade cattle say there's been little improvement in the price of stock.
