The family of a late Christrian Brother from Clarecastle have re-iterated their call for an investigation into accusations made against him on RTÉ’s Mission to Prey programme.
Brother Gerard Dillon was accused of child abuse during the ‘Prime Time Investigates’ broadcast, which also led to RTE making a defamation settlement with Fr. Kevin Reynolds.
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has refused to investigate the family’s claims, but Communications Minister Pat Rabbitte has said he is examining the issue – and is sympathetic towards it.
