Today marks Heart of Gold Day, which aims to urgently raise vital funds for Family Carers Ireland’s critical supports and services, while also raising awareness about the challenges faced by family carers throughout the country.

14,412 family carers across Clare, many of whom are unpaid, provide round-the-clock care for loved ones who are ill, elderly or have additional needs.
