There's been a slight reduction in the number of people waiting on trolleys at the region's main hospital, though the level of overcrowding remains high.

Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show 30 people are waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 16 of those in the Emergency Department.
Last week saw the level of overcrowding there become the highest of any hospital in the country for a number of days, however today the Emergency Department at Beaumont Hospital is the busiest in the country.
