The Government’s being asked to urgently address the funding of the ‘Fair Deal’ nursing home support scheme.
Funding allocated for the scheme has run out already and the HSE says while applications will continue to be accepted and processed, there is no funding for cover beyond the current ceiling.
A review has been ordered by the Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly.
