Failte Ireland Hails Clare’s Tourism Strategy As ‘Exceptionally Progressive’

Fáilte Ireland has hailed Clare’s new tourism strategy as both ambitious and exceptionally progressive.

Clare County Council yesterday launched a ten-year roadmap for the development of the sector in the county, in the wake of the difficulties faced during the pandemic.

The plan sets out 29 priorities including the development of Ennis as a gateway to the county, securing new routes for Shannon Airport and developing the West Clare Rail Greenway.

Fáilte Ireland Wild Atlantic Way Manager, Daithi Gallagher says the plan comes at a critical juncture.
