Motorists are being advised of a massive oil spill on the N68 Kilrush Road.
Clare County Council crews will be treating the oil slick on an almost 8 kilometre stretch from Ennis National School to Darragh for the afternoon.
Motorists are being advised to slow down and drive with extreme caution if travelling on the route.
