Extra Gardaí On The Roads As Bank Holiday Exodus Gets Underway

Extra Gardaí will be patrolling Clare’s roads over the coming days as one of the busiest weekends of the year gets underway.

Along with the usual bank holiday traffic, thousands of GAA fans will be on the road this Sunday for the Banner’s All Ireland Hurling Semi-Final replay against Galway.

Both marked and unmarked Garda cars will be stationed around the county, looking out for drink and drug driving, seatbelt wearing and mobile phone use at the wheel.
