Gardaí will be out in force on Clare roads this Easter Bank Holiday weekend in an effort to save lives and prevent serious injury.
11 people have lost their lives on Irish roads in the last five years alone during this period, while for every fatality recorded, six more have suffered life changing injuries.

There will be a large number of checkpoints on roads across the county and Gardaí will be patrolling in marked and unmarked vehicles.
Speaking to Clare FM’s Daragh Dolan, Clare’s Crime prevention officer, Sergeant Tríona Brooks has outlined the objective of this years Garda campaign.
