A Clare national school has received a significant funding boost for the construction of new classrooms.

Scoil na Mainistreach in Quin has been granted 379 thousand euro from the Department of Education to help with the development of a two-storey mainstream accommodation building.
The school has previously received funding of 800,000 euro and its hoped this extra cash injection will now allow the project to proceed to the planning stage.
