Extra beds and a new waiting room are just some of the features of the new Emergency Department at Temple Street Children’s hospital in Dublin.

After extensive lobbying by staff, the HSE-funded Emergency Department was opened by the Health Minister Simon Harris this morning.
The 690-thousand-euro facility also includes two new treatment rooms.
Consultant at the hospital, Dr Nandini Kandamany says it will save lives.
