A single-storey extension is being sought for Clarecastle National School.
The school’s board of management has applied for planning permission for the development which would consist of two special educational needs classrooms as well as ancillary accommodation, associated circulation space and all associated services.

The development would also include carparking, a sensory garden, play areas, a covered canopy and a storage shed.
Submissions relating to the application must be sent to Clare County Council by February 10th while a decision on the application is due to be made on or before March 3rd.
