Extension of the Limerick City Bondary won’t affect County Clare

The Environment Minister has said an extension of the Limerick City Bondary won’t affect County Clare in "any meaningful way".

A Boundary committee report previously proposed extending Limerick City’s borders only into Limerick County, but concerns are still being expressed in areas like Meelick, Parteen, and Ardnacrusha that South East Clare communities could find themselves becoming part of the city.
