A West Clare primary school is set to benefit from an expansion of its facilities.
The Department of Education has granted approval for a new mainstream classroom to be constructed at Doonaha National School.

The Kilkee based premises enrolled just 23 pupils last year, which was the tenth-lowest student population in the county.
Clare Fianna Fáil TD Timmy Dooley says the institution will now be able to grow in a modern environment.
