A former Labour TD for Clare doesn't believe the party has any mandate to enter government with Fine Gael.

Over the weekend it was reported that Labour is now considering backing Enda Kenny's party and finance minister Michael Noonan says a minority government would be more stable if Labour were to take part in it.
However Michael McNamara insists the party would be better of trying to offer strong opposition.
