The Tour de Burren has been honoured at the European Sport Tourism Awards.

The mass-participation cycling event was honoured with the Regional Sport Tourism Event of the Year gong in the Shannon Airport-sponsored event.
The Tour de Burren is one of Ireland's most popular sportifs, and Cycling Ireland members voted it as the country's best leisure cycling event last year.
Now in it's 12th year, it will next be held on June 15th.
