Sitting MEP Phil Prendegast will run for Labour, while Fianna Fáil have opted to run another sitting MEP Brian Crowley, along with Waterford-based Kieran Hartley.
Changes to the electoral map mean Clare voters will cast their ballots in Ireland South this year, along with others in South Leinster and Munster.
The local and European elections will be held on May 23rd.
