The Economic and Social Research Institute says Ireland can eliminate our primary deficit by 2013 – if we stick to the agreed programme for austerity.
That means we must continue to implement cuts that will total 30 billion euro by 2014.

But it’s warning Ireland will have to be in a position to return to the financial markets on its own by 2013.
