Staff at ESB will today serve notice of strike action to management after talks yesterday finished without resolution.

Their decision to do so could lead to industrial action from the 16th of December – and the possibility of power cuts.
The dispute is over a €1.6bn hole in the electricity supplier’s pension fund.
