The ESB has issued a warning to anyone considering swimming in Ardnacrusha reservoir.

It follows the deaths of two children in separate drowning incidents yesterday in Dublin and Cavan.
The body says all reservoirs are dangerous due to the risk of uneven ground, deep waters, changing water levels and fast-flowing waters.
2013 saw one person loose his life at Ardnacrusha.
