ESB Warn Against Swimming At Ardnacrusha

The ESB is warning the public not to swim in the waters of their power plant at Ardnacrusha.

The utility say the water surrounding the hydroelectric station is not suitable for swimming because of the risk of deep and fast-flowing waters, changing water levels and uneven ground.

Clear signage is in place to prevent the public from mistakenly entering unsuitable waters and the company is urging people to respect these warnings.
