Between 700 and 800 Clare homes and businesses are still without power following Wednesday's storm.
ESB crews will be out in force once more today, looking to repair faults which are reported on the outskirts of Newmarket on Fergus this morning, as well as in Cranny, Cooraclare, Ennis, Scariff, Killaloe, Cratloe and Blackwater.
ESB has said it is dealing mainly with what it describes as smaller one-off faults, generally related to fallen trees.
Nationally, less than 20,000 are still without power following Wednesday's near-hurricane force winds.
Separately, government funding has been announced for repairs to be carried out on infrastructure which is vital to the county's fishing industry, but was damaged during recent storms.
€8.8 million euro has been allocated for the repair of harbours, piers and slips which have a direct bearing on fishermen, including the likes of Ballyvaughan and Seafield.
Meanwhile, Bord Iascaigh Mhara is to compensate fishermen who lost lobster and shrimp pots over recent weeks.
