99 Clare homes that were without power overnight following last evening’s stormy conditions have had their power restored.
The fault in the Spancilhill area was first reported after 4:00 yesterday afternoon.
Elsewhere, following on from Storm Deirdre, there were power cuts overnight in Limerick, Wicklow, Wexford and Meath while in Cork City, a a 9-year-old girl was struck by a falling tree while cycling with her family yesterday, but is expected to make a full recovery.
