Hundreds of homes and businesses in Clare remain without power in the wake of Storm Darragh.
At the peak of the adverse weather, gusts of up to 140 kph battered the county and 16,000 properties experienced power outages.

Five days on, 246 premises in Moyriesk, Spanchil Hill and Clooney and 69 more in Tulla, Kilkishen and O’Callaghan’s Mills remain without power.
ESB repair crews are on the ground and its estimated electricity will be restored before 8pm tonight.
ESB Clare Area Manager Alan Hogan expects to be dealing with the fallout for a number of days to come.
