The Environmental Protection Agency has warned that up to 1,500 private wells in Clare could be at risk of contamination.

The EPA has issued a new report suggesting that 30 per cent of private wells may be contaminated by E. Coli, and with 4,500 such wells in Clare the group says it's important people test their supplies.
