Enterprise Ireland claims further growth is on the table for Clare in 2025, following large scale growth across the Midwest region last year.
The agency’s end of year results for 2024 show that 1,847 new jobs were created by companies backed by Enterprise Ireland in the Midwest last year.

Further growth to the 26,419 employed in the region has already been announced this year, with Irish medtech company Aerogen announcing the creation of 725 new jobs last month.
Enterprise Ireland’s Mid-West Regional Director, Dan Barry, says there are some potential stumbling blocks, but in general the county has great potential for growth in the coming years.
