Ennistymon Water Treatment Highlighted In EPA Report

The Water treatment plant in Ennistymon has been highlighted in a new report released by the Environmental Protection Agency.

The EPA's latest drinking water report shows that no areas in Clare are contained on its Remedial Action List which directs Irish Water to carry out work on inadequate supplies across the country.

But of the 62 audits completed in 2014, the Enistymon supply was found to be the only one in the country operating above 110% of its design capacity.
