Martin Conway has raised the issue of Blake's Corner in the Seanad following the TII's decision to reject plans for a new bridge, saying a full by-pass of the town is the only option to deal with traffic congestion.

The Ennistymon Senator is calling on the national authority to outline their plans to deal with ongoing issues and to identify a clear timeline for when works will be completed.

1.5 million tourists visit the Cliffs of Moher every year and Senator Conway says their experience is being impacted upon by what he describes as the "chaos" that faces them at Blake's corner.
