Ennistymon Man Unhappy With Council Over Blake’s Corner Plans

An Ennistymon man, who is set to see his family home knocked as part of efforts to alleviate traffic issues at notorious blackspot Blake's Corner says he remains very unhappy with Clare County Council's conduct over the plans.

The new bridge would be constructed 80m upstream from the existing Ennistymon Bridge on the N67, and would initially be used for Lahinch-bound traffic only.

Fergal O'Connor says the statement implies that there is full local agreement to the plan, which he claims is not the case.
