Two of Clare's Main Garda stations are to have their public opening hours cut back from next month.

The plan which will see Ennistymon and Killaloe open for six hours a day during the week and three hours at the weekend is aimed at getting more Gardaí out on the beat.
The County's Chief Superintendent John Kerin says as of next March he will be down an additional nine members of staff and he will be forced to make more cutbacks if he doesn't get more resources.
