Businesses in a North Clare town are said to be “down thousands of euro” due to ongoing public realm works.
Parliament Street in Ennistymon has been closed since April 20th to facilitate streetscape improvements.

The route was scheduled to reopen on July 31st but the project has now been extended to August 28th.
Lahinch Fine Gael Councillor Bill Slattery says the manner in which the works are being carried out is having a devastating effect on trade in the town.
