The new Mayor of Ennis insists it’s vital that work is carried out to ensure the county town is considered a key location for investment between the two cities of Limerick and Galway.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Clare Colleran Molloy was handed the Chain of Office at a ceremony at Áras Contae of Chlár last evening.
She takes over from Clarecstle Fine Gael Councillor Paul Murphy, who has been elected Deputy Mayor for the coming 12 months.
Councillor Molloy believes planning for the future must continue to be a priority, saying Ennis is on track to secure further investment:
