Ennis to Remember Victims of World War I

Today is Armistice Day, which marks the end of the First World War.

Now in it's tenth year an ecumenical service to mark the anniversary, will be held in St Peter and Paul's Cathedral in Ennis from 7.30 this evening. 

Approximately 700 people from Clare lost their lives in the conflict. 

It's as activists continue their work to create a monument in the town to anyone from Clare who has died in international conflict.
