Irish Rail says it expects the line between Limerick and Ennis to re-open next month.

It has been closed since last December because of extensive flooding at Ballycar.
1.75 miles of track remains flooded, but Iarnrod Eireann says unless there's further extreme weather, the line should re-open in the middle of May.
In the meantime, a shuttle bus service will continue to operate along the route.
