Ennis is one of 26 sites across the country which is being assessed for their suitability to house refugees.
Ireland has agreed to take in 4,000 refugees, with 62 from Syria are expected to arrive in the next few days, followed by hundreds more in 2016.

Refugees will also be accommodated in other areas including Killarney, Carlow, Carrickmacross, Roscommon, Castlebar and Tralee.
