It's the first such event since the government announced new capped measures in a bid to calm tensions over the fees.
In a poll conducted through Clare.fm since that announcement 51 per cent of voters say they won't pay the new flat rate, 40 per cent say they will while 8 per cent have yet to decide.
At the last major demonstration in Clare 1,200 people turned out in both Ennis and Shannon – while a national day of action is expected to take place on december 10th.
