Ennis will be lit up next Friday as the town's Christmas lights are switched on.

The Mayor of Ennis, Councillor Pat Daly will perform the official switch-on at the Christmas Tree in the Market at 5pm.
Entertainment will be provided by Scoil Chriost Rí, Cloughleigh and local Theatrical Group, Pantaloons, while the Ennis Lions Club will also launch their Yellow Ribbon Project in aid of Cahercalla Hospice.
Minor traffic diversions will be in place on Lower Market Street from 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
