Ennis Salesman Claims Dip In New Car Registrations Not Worrying

A Clare car salesman is playing down concerns about the year-on-year dip in the number of new car registrations in this county.

Figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that new registrations in July nationally were down 7% on the same month last year.

The number of new vehicles bought in Clare so far this year is also down 400 to almost 2,500 compared to the first seven months of 2016.
