Motorists and pedestrians in Ennis are being urged to observe caution due to a traffic light outage on the Gort Road.
On Thursday last, the traffic controller unit powering the lights on the R458 after the mini roundabout near Ennis General Hospital and before the pedestrian crossing near Shiel’s Service Station triggered an electrical fault.
Due to the nature of the fault, Clare County Council has commissioned a specialist contractor which is conducting an off site repair.
It is expected that the lights will be repaired by the middle of next week.
