Ennis Realtor Warns Of Severe Housing Shortage

An Ennis-based estate agent says there’s now a severe shortage in housing stock in the county.

It comes as new figures released by the Real Estate Alliance show a 3% rise in the price of houses in the county in the last three months with the average three-bed semi now costing €165,500.

This is an almost 14% jump on last year’s figures, and is higher than the national rise of 10.9%.
