Ennis Priest Says Local Parishes And Ukrainian Community In Shock Following Clarecastle Stabbing

The Parish Priest of Ennis says both the local and Ukrainian communities are in shock following the stabbing of an 8-year-old girl in Clarecastle.

The young Ukrainian refugee is understood to be fighting for her life in a hospital in Dublin, having initially been treated at University Hospital Limerick.

A woman in her forties, believed to be the girls mother, was found unconscious at the property in Clareabbey on Tuesday morning and also remains in critical condition at UHL.
