Ennis has been named Ireland’s Friendliest Town.
The County town won the award at this year’s Retail Excellence Awards in Dublin last night.
Ennis beat competition from Swords, Limerick City, Trim and Waterford City to claim the accolade.

Ennis clothes shop Willow was also honoured at the awards, being named one of the top five shops of 2018.
The annual awards are designed to drive standards in retail operations and town centers throughout the country.
