Ennis has been named Ireland’s Friendliest Place for 2022
The County town won the award at this year’s Retail Excellence Awards at a ceremony in the Galmont Hotel in Galway last night.

Ennis beat off competition from Ashbourne and Moynalty in Meath, Carrick-on-Shannon in Leitrim, and Monaghan town to claim the accolade with the Banner county last scooping the prestigious prize in 2018.
The annual awards are designed to drive standards in retail operations and town centres throughout the country.
