Ennis Musical Society Says Its Future Looks ‘Precarious’

Ennis Musical Society says its future is uncertain as the onset of COVID-19 has put the group into significant debt.

The society had invested heavily in their planned musical for March of this year, but this was then shut down as it was to be staged in March when lockdown began.

The group, which has around 150 current members, says its future is now in jeopardy, adding it would be a severe blow if it had to shut down.
