Ennis Town Councillors have expressed outrage at the recent report that labelled parts of Ennis as a litter blackspot.

The Irish Business against Litter Survey found that Clare’s County Town is no longer clean to European norms, and ranked it in 40th position of 43 sites inspected nationwide.
The survey comes just days before the announcement of this year’s Tidy Towns Awards, which chose Ennis as Ireland’s tidiest large urban centre last year.
